Spring Sing is back with a day of uplifting harmony singing workshops with three dynamic workshop leaders: Anna Tabbush, Rose Martin and Katy Rose Bennett. All ages and abilities welcome. No previous musical experience required – all music will be taught by ear in fun, relaxed workshops. Teas and coffees will be provided throughout the day.
Workshop Leaders
Anna Tabbush has conducted and composed for community choirs for over 20 years and has set up over 20 choirs in that time. She has gained renown for her own brand of heartfelt, socially conscious and catchy songwriting and more recently for her song Harbour which has spread around the world like wildfire in support of those seeking refuge in safer countries. Rose Martin is a dynamic and fun-loving musician who has a passion for bringing singing to all. She has worked as a singer, musical director and educator in the UK and abroad since 2012. Rose has sung with some of the finest choirs around, waved her arms at some of the most joyful, and scribbled out choral arrangements ranging from folky murder ballads to 80s bangers. She works with organisations such as Radley College, Southwark Music and the Voices Foundation bringing high-quality music education to as many children as possible. Katy Rose Bennett has been creating her earthy, intimate folk music for
over 20 years, telling stories of love, despair, connection and community.
